The Zine Station is so integral to the fabric of R.E.P - a live archive of the gathering, an ode, a homage, a collective prayer, a spiralling conversation, a metabolic deep time story weaving forward and back, heart to heart.
We began this process in 2023, and the archive that came forth was such a true distillation of the event that year - playful, whimsical, bratty and cheeky as well as profound and profane, as we tested the waters together, got to know the new site and droppped into community.
In 2024, from that foundation, we really dove into trust, and into the generative potential of our time-place. From the opening, to the grief shrine, to the yarns and circles, the burning and the close - we gave each other sacred permission. And as you can feel in the pages of this zine - that permission allowed an unfolding of catharsis, a reverent vulnerability, and the sweet and staunch hope that arises when we go together into the deep and dark places.
We are so humbled by this gift, and by the clear and true feedback that resounds between every single one of us, so that we speak to each other, to country, to our collective body.
And so that speaking is recorded here.
